Intel 82852/82855 has 0MB of memory on Windows Vista
Looks like the Newer Intel SATA Controller's currently have no Driver Support in Windows Vista, because I installed Beta 2 just fine on my Older Intel 82801FB/FBM SATA Controller without the need for Additional SATA Driver's, just FYI.

I have an older HP NX7000 that I've been using for testing Vista, it's been fine up till now, but in beta 2 the pci-agp bridge (82855PM - 3341) cannot find enough resources to start and this effectively kills the video.
The graphics card (an ATI Radeon Mobility 9200) is therefore never detected and unless I disable the 82855PM or boot to safe mode I just end up with a black screen (I guess when it tries to start it wrecks things a bit).
So I end up with poor graphics performance (not that I'd get Aero anyway!) running under vgssave...
I guess this is an intel driver problem but I don't expect to get any fix anytime soon ... sigh ... oh well

I have the same problem with my Presario x1030AP which has 82855PM - 3341 AGP controller problem, with "cannot find enough resources".
My guess is that this has to be Intel's problem but there is not Intel Vista driver, is there?

Update on this.
I have been corresponding with Kastigeer. We both have tried this alternative solution (which will be posted below) and confirmed that Vista works fine with full driver acceleration support.
Please visit http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=45&TopicId=8236 to see my posts in regards to this issue.
And the solution that Kastigeer discovered and I confirmed working: So here's the breakdown of the steps:
1) Create a new administrator account with password, or put password on your primary account (administrator). 2) Enable Remote Access (via Safe Mode). 3) Make sure the laptop is accessible through network, worthwhile to give a static IP, or record down the IP address. Also worthwhile to remember the computer name if you have Dynamic IP. 4) Reboot the laptop and leave it connected to the network. 5) Use an XP RDP Client, and access Vista's Remote Access. 6) Connect without username/password from XP RDP Client, and when on Vista's "Welcome Screen" logon with appropriate details. 7) View Device Manager, making sure that System devices > Intel 82855PM Processor to AGP Controller - 3341 is enabled. Check Display Adaptor > Radeon 9000 is installed. 8) Right-click on Radeon 9000 and update the driver manually with the INF from XP driver. 9) Reboot 10) Voila!
Note: Make sure you have the latest XP driver for Mobility Radeon 9200, in my case, I got mine from HP's site. Extracted to a folder or removable drive for use in step 7 above.
Alternative solution without using WDDM 82855PM AGP Controller:
Prior to the above solution, Barry suggested trying to get past the "black screen" with using Safe Mode to disable 82855PM AGP Controller in Device Manager. That worked but you don't get the optimised driver and display is fixed maximum at 1280x1024. On my 1680x1050 displaying 1280x1024 is FUGLY! Anyhow, if you are currently tolerate with this solution, you can try the above solution by making sure Remote Access is enabled, and AGP controller is enabled too. Then follow steps from step 3 onward.
